How to change Windows password from command prompt

1.Open Command Prompt.Start >Run amd type cmd.



2.Type 'net user' and then press Enter.This will display the list of all users of that computer.



3.Type net user <username> * .Do not neglect any of the spaces.

4.Press Enter.You will be asked for the new password.The characters will not be displayed.After typing the password hit Enter.



5.Retype the password.If you get an error message or your access is denied ,your account does not have authorization to change passwords.
